We had a wonderful trip! Location was great and it was very nicely decorated! Kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials and I appreciate how the owners had everything labeled from dishwasher safe/non dishwasher safe cups down to light switches! It did my organizer’s heart good! We needed a light replaced on the outside balcony and they had maintenance fix it the next morning! They were very quick and responsive. Only negative I have was the pull out sofa bed was terribly uncomfortable. That guest ended up making the couch back up and sleeping on it like a regular sofa. I would say the condo only sleeps 6 comfortably.

We enjoyed everything about the condo and property. Only issue we had was with the elevators for a couple of days. We would very much enjoy staying at this property again

Our condo was lovely and very clean. Kitchen fully stocked. Great icemaker in fridge. (We have had one to not work at another location) air conditioner was great. ( also have had problems with that as well). Pools were great. We had a wonderful family vacation. If there was a negative it would be large condo with lots of people and only 2 elevators which is very common in large complexes. And there was plenty of parking but the spaces were very tight. You really had to think about how to get in and out, again big condo, lots of cars. But easy to work with owners and very pleased overall.

Very clean and the decor was very nice. It was beachy, but not over the top and didn’t look cheap. It felt very upscale. I have been coming to Gulf Shores for over 20 years (sometimes more than once a year) and this was definitely one the cleanest and nicest condo I have stayed in. This was a last minute trip and Alabama Getaway made the check in and check out very easy. Oh yeah, my husband loves the fitness room at Seawind. We will be back.

We had a blast staying at Seawind for the week before Labor Day weekend. The elevators were not an issue, as it was a slower time. Elevators were just a bit slow on Friday and Saturday of Labor Day weekend as to be expected. The view from the balcony is great and we enjoyed sitting out with our coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening. The bed in the master was pretty comfy except the mattress is sinking just a bit in the middle. Bathrooms are large with plenty of space for our family! Our son is 3 and loved the splash pad! Will definitely be back!

My mom will turn93 this month and I decided to take her to the beach. My daughter and I loaded her up and brought her to Seawind. The condo was beautiful! I have stayed in condos in several cities and this is one of the cleanest and most organized. The view was perfect for mom, especially the high chairs on the patio. We had a little problem for her getting up from the bath “facility” and we texted the staff and asked if by chance they had a bath seat that fit over the “facility” . They didn’t, but offered to investigate and see if they could locate one at a medical supply store on Monday. I located one myself over the weekend. The staff did call us and we thanked them for their effort , and I told them I found one. Once again, we had a WONDERFUL stay and would recommend anyone to stay there. The information welcome packet in the condo was very helpful and a great idea for the guests. A shout out to the staff again for their prompt response to our needs.

This was a beautiful unit in Gulf Shores. Check in was easy and maintenance issues were addressed quickly. The only issues we had, as others have stated, was with the elevator and pool situation. We had prepared ourselves for a busy elevator but it was truly ridiculous. We even woke up early on check out day so we didn’t have to lug everything down the stairs and still didn’t get an elevator. Luckily this unit was on the 5th floor but it does take away a little of the vacation magic having to wait 10-15 minutes at minimum for an elevator or lugging a 2 year old and all the beach supplies up and down 5 flights of stairs everyday. Also, the outdoor pool is very small and crowded. If you have a young child the sprinkler pad is great! Location was good but it’s really hard to look pass the elevators which is why we gave a lower rating.

We waited for hours daily for the elevator on many days of our stay. The final day we waited over an hour and finally had no choice but to carry out luggage down 2 flights of stairs . In Total we went up and down 14 flights . My husband has a Back issue and I have now pulled my shoulder carry items down 2 floors . I expect VRBO to refund my fees as compensation for the huge discomforts of no elevator service . We work very hard. All year to go on vacation and the was our 7 year at this complex . In consideration of the rental fee in addition to the added VRBO fees we feel we should be refunded . Please feel free to contact me immediately . Sincerely Kathy Kirchoff

As others have said...the elevator's are the only negative. Complex wasn't full so we didnt spend much time wasted on waiting. It does suck when you're waiting with arms full and the elevator stops and opens and it's full. It does this about twice every time you want to go down. Other than that the room was great. One small complaint would be the knuckle heads that cant park in their spot in the deck. If someone parks on the line you can not park beside them.

Our say was great! Clean, spacious, full kitchen and a great view of dolphins playing in the mornings from the deck. We would definitely go there again.

Great condo with beautiful beach. Nice heated pool and hot tub. Nice porch furniture. Restaurant next door. Needs hot pads. Toilets run extra.

My mom and I decided last minute to take a beach trip, we booked this condo and less than 24 hours we were there! The condo was beautiful! The decor and layout were wonderful. The beds were so comfortable, I didn’t want to go back to my own bed! We loved all of the toys and beach items provided, the wagon was a huge help having little ones. Check in/ out was a breeze! This location is perfect, right next door to sea n suds restaurant! We walked over one evening after a day on the beach and had a wonderful meal. Just a two minute drive to the main part of the city. Close to lots of restaurants and shopping. (Some of our favorite places to always eat- Desoto’s, Oyster House, Sea N Suds, LuLu’s, The Shrimp Basket, and scoops for ice cream is a must!) The pool/splash pad for kids is THE BEST! The deepest part is just two feet deep, this is where we spent most of our trip. Our boys LOVED it! Lots of kids to play with and everyone was so nice! The kitchen is fully stocked, except no potholders. We used the hand towel. A nice standing fan was a great surprise, our baby loves sound when he is napping. The balcony has plenty of seating for everyone and we enjoyed sitting out here and eating lunch or having coffee in the morning. We would love to stay here again, it was perfect for us! We have stayed in a lot of condos in the gulf shores area, Highly recommend!
