PROPERTY AT A GLANCE
You realize you have arrived somewhere very special from the moment you pull into the drive at Favorite Child. The home was designed by Stead McCullough, our favorite local architect, who always ensures every detail, inside and out, is planned and executed with the intentional purpose of creating memories, beauty, and comfort through space and design elements. 

As you walk into the home, you are immersed in coastal, southern luxury and charm! All of the floors are antique reclaimed heart of pine except for tile in the bathrooms and entry. Almost every wall is shiplap (hung vertically). The decor is coastal and beautiful and drenched in whites, neutrals, and blues. The home has 2 main living levels with parking underneath - an elevator services all three floor levels. 

This home was made for dining and entertaining! The fully stocked gourmet style kitchen is a work of art and features luxury brand appliances like Sub-Zero and Wolf and is outfitted with a gas cooktop. You will enjoy meals at the dining table overlooking the beach, sitting at the large kitchen island, or you may choose to enjoy the gulf breeze and dine ‘al fresco’ at one of the outdoor dining tables.

In the living room, large window sliding doors along the southern wall showcase the gorgeous beach front setting with sparkling emerald gulf waters and our World-Famous sugar white beaches! The enormous beach front deck is an extension of the home’s living and entertaining options - there you will find two separate covered sitting areas - with one being an outdoor living room set up complete with an outdoor TV. Step down to the giant, uncovered patio to find dining tables, loungers, a gas grill, and your very own private and heated (for a fee) outdoor beach front pool. 

The home has two separate living room areas - a living room on the main level and a spacious den located in the master suite on the top level. The top level den features a coffee bar and mini fridge. 

Additional amenities include high-speed Fiber Wi-Fi, smart TVs, a full-size washer and dryer, outdoor gas grill, outdoor shower, and a commercial ice machine. Beach service rental is available most seasons for guest convenience - inquire for more details.

BEDDING CONFIGURATION
At Favorite Child, each of the five bedrooms features its own private en-suite bathroom.
Home currently sleeps up to 14 with future plans to increase sleeping arrangements to 18.

Top Level Bedrooms:
- Bedroom 1: Primary Suite: Beach front with a king bed and many extra features: access to a beach front balcony, oversized closet (perfect for an extra sleeping area - we are happy to provide air mattresses or pack and plays), a large bathroom with double vanities and a custom double shower, and a second den area with coffee bar and mini fridge. 
- Bedroom 2: Guest Suite: King size bed, private bathroom with a tub/shower combo (*special notice - future update plans: this bedroom will convert to a two queen bedroom - sleeping up to 4 - in the future - please inquire for update status).
- Bedroom 3: Guest Suite: Queen size bed, private bathroom with a tub/shower combo.

Main Level Bedrooms:
- Bedroom 4: Guest Suite: King size bed, private bathroom with a walk-in shower.
- Bedroom 5: Guest Bunk Suite: Two Twin over Twin beds, private bathroom (*special notice - future update plans: this bedroom will convert to two sets of twin over full bunk beds - sleeping up to 6 - in the future - please inquire for update status).

Additional Sleeping Locations:
- Top Level Den Area: Double stack, luxury queen air mattresses with built in fast inflate/deflate pump provided for additional sleeping options

Favorite Child is located in Cottages at Romar, a gated gulf-front community in Orange Beach. At Cottages at Romar, beautifully designed homes with gorgeous architecture form a charming beach community. Amenities include: beautiful gazebo with boardwalk to the beach and a large, resort styled zero entry pool. A wonderful tranquil beach setting that is perfect for families, couples, snowbirds! All just minutes to all the area's family fun, restaurants, golf, nightlife, concerts, and so much more!

PARKING INFO
No parking fees at this home. Approximately seven to eight total parking spots (depending on vehicle size) - some covered. Additional overflow parking is available in the community but first come, first served. No oversized vehicles, trailers, or RV’s are allowed - please inquire for offsite parking options if needed.

LOCATION
Cottages at Romar is located directly on a stretch of over 500’ of pristine sugar white sand beach on Perdido Beach Blvd towards the west end of Orange Beach. The community is nestled among many other residential neighborhoods and private beach homes. The beach in this area is quieter and less crowded than other parts of our area. Cottages at Romar is gated and private, but only a short drive to all the area’s best restaurants, fun activities, and nightlife!

After housekeeping is complete, a quality control specialist personally checks your rental ahead of your arrival to make sure everything is ready for you!! As one of our guests, you have access to us 24/7 should you need anything, have a question, or see something that needs our attention! CLEAN BED GUARANTEE
All beds are dressed with freshly laundered luxurious sheets and white quilts directly from our laundry office for EVERY rental! You are guaranteed to have a completely fresh and clean bed! You will also find each bathroom stocked with oversized fresh bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and bath mats straight from our laundry office! We started our own in house cleaning division and all clean bed program in 2018 to ensure our high cleaning standards are met and that we have complete control over our property cleaning and maintenance.

WHAT WE STOCK
As common for vacation rentals in our area, we provide one round of bath soaps, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and toilet paper in the bathrooms. In the kitchen you will find one round of paper towels laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, and trash bags. These stocked amenities are intended to get you through the first night. We are not set up like a hotel so we do not provide daily housekeeping or amenity restocking; however, additional cleanings are available - please inquire for more details. Please bring the extra items you will need for your vacation.
