Nostalgia feels the rooms along with endless rays of sunlight…and you can sense that this home has hosted so much laughter and love and seen so many wonderful family memories made! We feel this beach home is about as close to perfect as you get, and we look forward to sharing it with you!!
This home has been used exclusively as a family beach home since built – never rented. The wonderful family has now decided to offer it as a vacation rental. It is in perfect condition and Alabama Getaway is committed to keeping it that way. We know you will love and enjoy it as much as the family who owned it has.
Grand Central is located in Cottages at Romar, Orange Beach’s newest gulf front community. At Cottages at Romar, beautifully designed homes with gorgeous architecture form a charming beach community. They share 500’ of gorgeous beach front; a large, resort styled zero entry pool; fire pit; and boardwalk to the beach.
Grand Central sits one row back from the beach. The sounds of waves crashing fill the air at Grand Central…and the gulf breeze almost never stops. The home does offer some views of the beach and Gulf of Mexico from multiple rooms and the 2 covered porches. The home has a large and lush shared back yard where families can play or picnic. The home is built up on pilings which creates an extra space underneath with room for parking, playing, grilling (gas grill is available for guests to use), and dining on the large picnic table. An outdoor shower is found in this area as well.
Inside the home you will find 2 living levels. Natural light floods this entire home in the most perfect way…keeping both the home and occupants refreshed and happy!
The main living level features a very large living room, dining room, and kitchen. The living room has ample comfortable seating and a large HDTV. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare and serve meals. A master suite and a guest half bath is also located on this level.
The second floor features another master suite, guest bedrooms and baths, a den with more sleeping area, a wet bar/coffee station, and a guest half bath. A wonderful covered deck with sitting area is found off the den and second master.
A large deck is found off the main living/dining area and features a sitting area and a dining table.

* Master Bedroom (main level): king sized bed; queen sleeper sofa; attached bath with double vanity and walk in shower – sleeps 4
* Second Master Bedroom (second level): king sized bed; attached bath with double vanity and walk in shower – sleeps 2
* Guest Bedroom 1 (second level): King sized bed; attached bath with shower/tub combo – sleeps 2
* Guest Bedroom 2 (second level): Queen sized bed; 2 twin beds; attached bath with double vanity and shower/tub combo – sleeps 4
* Upstairs den (second level): Pull out queen sleeper sofa; full over full bunk beds – sleeps 4
* Air mattress for main living room (sleeps 2)

The house was absolutely wonderful for couples staying together or families with children. The house must be very well built because it was extremely quiet. You did not hear people talking, didnt hear flushing toilets etc. outside was quiet as well. Weather wasnt particularly nice but we were able to sit out on the deck s and enjoyed the beautiful grounds. The location of the home was easy to get to other places in the area. Our group really enjoyed the dining room table which had a lazy Susan. We play Train Dominos so the lazy Susan made it easy to make our plays! I will have to say it is not a house for anyone who cant do stairs well because there is a flight of stairs just to get to the living quarters. I would love to return sometime with my family. What a wonderful beach home!! It's even nicer than the pictures. The owners thought of everything. The layout of the home is great for big families. The decor and finishings were so beautiful throughout the whole home. We loved the big living room/ kitchen area and the upstairs living room was great for the kids. The kids' table in the kitchen and the bunk bed were a big hit too. The beds were all really comfortable and everything was so clean. The beach was so close and the views of the ocean were great from the top balcony. The amazing pool is just steps away! Thank you for sharing your family home with us!! We hope to return again next year.

The property is beautiful! The decor is amazing and it felt like home from the moment we walked in. The kids had a great space to play and hangout. The adults had another space to talk and not hear the kids. When we all wanted to be together there was plenty of room. It was a true vacation! We will stay here again!!

We stayed at this gorgeous rental the last week of March. It was a last minute decision, and WOW was it incredible. My husband & I along with our 5 kids (ages 4-13) and my parents enjoyed this well-equipped, immaculate home. It's located in beautiful Romar Cottages, and the location is steps from a fantastic boardwalk to the beach or gorgeous pool. Our kids loved the "kiddie" table with toys & the bins of sand toys offered. The kitchen was well stocked for our stay, and the bedroom arrangements were perfect. The house is tastefully decorated, and just felt like home. We hope to visit again soon! We all said there wasn't anything that we would change.
